A pre-concert talk will take place from 6:30pm to 7:00pm.
Approximate concert length: 100 minutes
Three 20th century composers put their best pen forward to charm audiences. William Grant Still’s Festive Overture and Florence Price’s first symphony put both composers squarely in the forefront of American composers. Prokofiev’s “Classical” symphony shows the composer’s playful style.
There will be an Open Rehearsal at 10:00 am. Tickets are $10.
