Accessibility and Healthcare Needs:
At the Orpheum Theater, we welcome all and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear a concert, laugh at a comedy show, view a movie screening, or feel the dramatics of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and New Orleans Ballet Theater. We want anyone with an accessibility question, to feel comfortable with the tickets they have purchased. The Orpheum Theater is transformational, able to go from fully seated to an open floor for the next performance. Here are a few guidelines for our accessible areas:
Fully Reserved Seating – With fully reserved seating, patrons can select their seats from the Orchestra floor to the last row of the gallery. In this situation, Accessible seating can be found on the floor (Box 103, Box 110, and along the back wall) and third floor, elevator-accessed, Gallery area. We can adapt these seats with moveable chairs to ensure you can view the show comfortably.
General Admission (GA) floor – The floor is a standing room for GA events, making it completely accessible as there are no steps from the curb on the street to the stage. These events will also have a GA Gallery section for patrons who cannot stand for periods. The third floor, elevator accessed, Gallery area has seats and an accessible area for patrons to sit where they like, as there is no assigned seating.
With our transformative theater, the number of accessible seats can change from show to show but have no worries; we are here to help! All accessible tickets can be found on ticketmaster.com, and will have the option to have a companion seat next to them. If you need any assistance, email tickets@orpheumnola.com, visit the box office day of the show, or ask as an usher; we are happy to assist you.
Covid-19:
The Orpheum Theater no longer requires a negative PCR, proof of vaccination, or mask. At the Orpheum Theater, we follow the guidelines of the New Orleans Health Department and Center for Disease Control. If at any time, mandates are reinstated, notices will be added to each show affected.
